1) Overvoltage alarm

When the single battery or PACK overall charging voltage exceeds the warning value, an alarm will be issued;

2) Overvoltage protection

When the overall charging voltage of the single battery or PACK exceeds the allowable value, immediately stop charging, disconnect the charging device from the lithium-ion battery pack: with alarm prompts;

3) Over-discharge alarm

When the overall discharge voltage of the single battery or PACK is lower than the warning value, an alarm will be issued;

4) Over discharge protection

When the overall discharge voltage of the single battery or PACK is lower than the protection value, stop the discharge immediately, disconnect the electrical equipment from the lithium-ion battery pack, and give an alarm;

5) Overcurrent alarm

When the charging or discharging current of the lithium-ion battery pack exceeds the warning value, an alarm will be issued;

6) Overcurrent protection

When the charging or discharging current of the lithium-ion battery pack exceeds the allowable value, immediately stop discharging, disconnect the electrical equipment from the lithium-ion battery pack, and give an alarm;

7) Short circuit protection

When a short circuit occurs in the lithium-ion battery pack, immediately stop charging and discharging, disconnect the electrical equipment from the lithium-ion battery pack, and give an alarm;

8) Over temperature alarm

When the lithium-ion battery temperature or ambient temperature exceeds the warning value, an alarm will be issued:

9) Over temperature protection

When it is detected that the ambient temperature or the internal temperature of the lithium-ion battery pack exceeds the protection value, immediately disconnect the charging or electrical equipment from the battery pack, accompanied by an alarm. When the ambient temperature or the internal temperature of the lithium-ion battery pack returns to the allowable value, the battery management function can be restored manually or automatically, but the battery discharge function will not be affected.

10) Estimate the SOC of the battery pack

SOC (State Of Charge, the state of charge of the battery), that is, the remaining battery power. Keep the SOC within a reasonable range. Prevent damage to the battery due to overcharge or overdischarge, and predict the remaining capacity of the battery at any time.

The battery management system BMS is the core component of battery protection and management, not only to ensure the safe and reliable use of the battery, but also to give full play to the performance of the battery and prolong the service life, as the backup power for communication, the management system is in the high-voltage DC power supply It serves as a bridge between it and the battery.
